Hi, The game (version 2c) crashes during the earrings scene. Is there a fix?
P.S. Great game, loved it so far!
This is a known bug, it will be fixed in Chapter 3.
Don't worry about missing out on content for now, there will be another oppotunity in the future for getting your ears pierced.
A potential solution however is playing the version over on TFgameSite. It has some more content, but will require a new save.
Hiya! Loving the game! Sadly, I am stuck on the 2nd day as a maid in the forest... The journal tells me to go to the Island on the Lake part of the forest map, but when I get there, nothing triggers, and I cannot access the island or the blue flower on it. Did I miss something? Could I get some help, as it seems the game doesn't have a wiki or built-in hint system?
Edit: Scratch that, that island wasn't on the lake, but it was one map above Witch Hut and in the eastern part of the forest? Since West is the starting cardinal direction, you come into the forest. I swear you made a joke about it being confusing, and you were right.
Also, I have to notice similarities (Nele Fairy) between this game and Magical Camp. Are you somehow connected to the devs?
Do you plan to make a Discord community for this game?
It is only the Castle Cliffside map where the four cardinal directions are mirrored (Otherwise it would be hard to show the road down the cliffs). The directions in Westen Forest are normal, I apologize if that was confusing. Perhaps I should add a short event where the MC comments on how everything makes sense again?
Maid Quest, while inspired by Magical Camp, is in no way connected to it. We simply both use some the same RPG Maker sprites. Fun fact: In this game "Nele" is named "Lyra", and you'll be seeing more of her in chapter 3 ;)
I would love to make a Discord community, but I don't have any experience running one, or frankly, the time to do so. But, if someone were to make a fan discord, I'd happily join!
Thanks for responding! It's great to have the same nostalgic feeling with this game, thinking about Magical Camp. Although I have to commend you on your world and story-building skills, the depth and nuance, and pure fun from your game are overwhelming!

Yeah, the forest part was slightly confusing. I thought the western forest was the western part of the forest map, even if it was in the east, this, alongside the young witch telling me to look in the North-West Cardinal direction, meant I kept going East and then South thinking, they were still inverted and you perfectly placed a lake with an island and single blue floower in the South-East Cardinal direction. ;D I figured it out after an hour lol.
I wanted to ask about the parts in the castle and the cave in the Western Forest, since Feydan tells me that I lack light. I stopped myself from exploring since I couldn't recharge my oil lantern. (Was I supposed to keep the item after the tutorial?) Is it going to be accessible later down the update line?
You know what, I have some experience in running Discord servers, I will ask around at the old but active Magical Camp Patrons Discord server, if anyone would be willing to join me in creation and modding. If I get a crew, I may use this weekend to work on it.
You'll get some tools to deal with the dark areas if you just continue to follow the story and maybe explore some of the deeper parts of the castle :)
Regarding the discord server, I know some people on the TFGamesSite forums have been asking about it as well, maybe they'd be willing to help out?

Seems like you need to explore a bit more! I suggest taking a look around the area south of the witch hut. (The lumberjacks will have removed the timber blocking the road after you've met Cylla)
Were you suppose to get Lucy into your party before lighting up the purple crystal?
If you by crystal, you mean the purple orb in the Forgotten Library, then yes :>
hey Dev-san how do you get knight armor to move and is it possible to get the red chest in the village?
You can't move the suits of armor or get the red chest, just yet. You'll have to wait for a future chapter :)

There's seven as of Chapter 2.
But to find them all you might want to use the version over on TFGamessite. It has a bit more content, though you might need to use a fresh save.
how do i get a light for the forgotten library and how do i give the princess her package?
Try exploring the Forgotten library a little more, maybe going south from the second antechamber?
The package will become relevent later :)

You can use them to light up braziers in the dark sections of the library.

Usually a purple/violet lever. However, there is more than one puzzle involving violet/purple light. Which one are you referring to?

Welp i gotta say im loving the game im just stumped in the lost library ive been going up and down the bookshelves and i just cant seem to get to the outher side so im ither not doing somthing or theres somewhere i can jump that im to blind to see

This is game tricked me, it use the femboy to lure into reading its lore
Got mah ears pierced, then crashed to an Unknown Exception as soon as the studs were added.
Can’t seem to figure out how to heal either, as sleeping doesn’t restore anything. So it’s possible to go into HP Debt, where you can’t find enough healing items. This can softlock you at low HP.
Edit: Also wanted you to know, this game is a lot more well put together than many others I’ve played. A user can tell you had a bit of a fun time adding little bits here and there.
Overall: Game is nice.

There is indeed a crash, I'll get right to fixing it.
In the meantime I suggest downloading the version over on tfgamesite, it is a newer version.
I have the same problem with getting the ears pierced, but tfgamesite has basically been blocked due to the age verification laws where I live. So, I can't get it from there. It looks like most of the US is following suit on that front, too.
Was it fixed in a patch that hasn't made it to this site, or is there a more recent version elsewhere?
I did not know that tfgamesite had been blocked. That does pose a problem as I consider that site the main platform for the game (forum is there and such), here's a direct download link to Chapter 2c, you might need to start a new game as this version is slightly different.

Playing through the game and I have to say loving the writing and story so far, though I have this nagging feeling I'm missing or passing by optional tf content that I would rather not miss. Is there a missables guide somewhere?

This is probably the dumbest issue of all time, but I genuinely can't find my way to Isau's camping spot for the Coffee Run quest. I got the the cave after the lillypads with the single bat and the blindness cure, but I can't find where to go next even though it's probably extremely obvious.
After going up the small stony stairs, there's a ledge on the left, you can jump to the pillars sticking out of the water to proceed :)
